Our Vision

At Thrive, we are inspired by the mission that God has given each believer, “To go into all the world and make disciples of all nations…” (Matt. 28:19).

We want to reach new parts of the Sacramento Valley by sending out leaders and teams to plant new campuses. Our goal is to plant 4 new campuses this decade! On August 20, 2023, we launched our first new campus Thrive East which serves those who live on the East side of Elk Grove and Sacramento. 

We call this the 511 Vision: 5 Campuses, 1 Church, 1 Purpose… To see the love of Jesus spread to our region and beyond.

Our Values

Thrive has 4 core values that shape who we are.

  • The greatest proof of our love for Jesus is how we treat each other. We work hard to love each other well!

    Ephesians 2:19-20 says, “You are members of God’s family. Together, we are His house… And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus Himself.”

    One important aspect of being in community is connecting in a Small Group and/or Ministry Team! This is where relationships deepen and where we live out a Christ-centered community.

  • A disciple is a disciplined follower of Jesus. This means that we seek to be more like him daily in our character. It also means that we are share our faith and help others grow as Christ followers.

  • Jesus taught us that the moment a person becomes a child of God, the Holy Spirit lives within us.

    “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit… He lives with you now and later will be in you.” John 14:16-17 NLT

    We seek to cultivate a growing dependance on the Person of the Holy Spirit through daily prayer and Bible study.

  • Giving is one of the central themes in the Bible. Jesus talked more about this subject than Heaven, hell, or prayer. To understand what it means to be a Christ-follower, we must also understand what it means to be a giver.

    Our goal is to live with open hands to God and others! We believe that God has blessed Thrive to be a blessing to the world!
